Can CWN reduce contamination of heat exchangers?
CWN is used to make microbiological pressure and recurring build-up easier to control. The impact on heat exchangers depends on water load, temperature, flow, material use, positioning and measurement strategy.
Can CWN help with membrane fouling?
CWN can be relevant when microbiological build-up or contamination contributes to membrane load. The application is always assessed in relation to existing pre-filtration, flushing, pressure difference, water quality and maintenance strategy.
Does CWN replace cleaning or chemical treatment?
No. CWN is applied as an additional system technology. Cleaning, flushing, filtration, chemical treatment, UV or oxidative treatment can each retain their own function within water management.
Where is CWN installed for heat exchangers or membranes?
That depends on the installation. Possible locations include bypasses, supply lines, return flows, buffer tanks, pump circuits or zones before critical installation parts where microbiological load and contamination come together.
How do we demonstrate the impact of CWN?
We define together in advance which goals are important for your installation. During a pilot, we monitor these through measurements and practical observations, for example water quality, microbiological load, contamination, pressure loss, flushing needs, maintenance frequency and system stability. This makes the contribution of CWN visible within your own process water system.
