From correction and dosing to structural control

Many recirculating water systems are only adjusted once deviations become visible. Examples include increasing microbial counts, recurring contamination, biofilm formation or a growing need for oxidative dosing.

CWN looks earlier in the system. With nano cavitation as an additional physical treatment, we assess where microbiological build-up can be influenced more structurally within the existing water circuit.

In many installations, water quality is monitored through analyses, visual inspection, pressure loss, clogging or periodic measurements. This is valuable, but often a problem only becomes visible once microbiological build-up is already present.

Corrective steps then follow, such as cleaning, flushing, UV checks or oxidative dosing. This approach remains important, but it does not always address the underlying system dynamics.

When organic load, stagnant zones, temperature, flow and recirculation remain favourable for microbiological growth, the same problem can return later.

CWN applies nano cavitation as an additional physical treatment within the water circuit. The application is tailored to system volume, flow rate, water load, existing water treatment and critical zones.

Structural control starts with insight into the complete water circuit. CWN does not only look at one technology or one measuring point, but at the interaction between water load, flow, recirculation, existing treatment and critical zones.

If CWN is technically suitable, we validate this with a pilot under practical operating conditions. This makes it visible whether nano cavitation contributes to more stable water quality, less recurring build-up and more control over system behaviour.

Does CWN replace existing water treatment?

No. CWN is applied as an additional system technology. Existing technologies such as filtration, UV, cleaning, flushing or oxidative dosing can each retain their own function within water management.

What is the difference between correction and structural control?

Correction often takes place after deviations have become visible. Structural control looks earlier at system behaviour: where microbiological build-up starts, where critical zones are located and how the water circuit can be kept more stable.

When is CWN relevant?

CWN is particularly relevant when the same problems keep returning, such as biofilm, fluctuating analyses, contamination, increasing dosing or a water circuit that remains difficult to predict.

Where is CWN applied?

That depends on the installation. Possible locations include basins, silos, pipes, return flows or other zones where recirculation, organic load and microbiological pressure come together.

How do we demonstrate the impact of CWN?

We define together in advance which goals are important for your installation. During a pilot, we monitor these through measurements and practical observations, for example water quality, microbiological load, contamination, corrective treatment and system stability. This makes the contribution of CWN visible within your own water system.
