Reusing drain water with more control over water quality
What CWN adds
CWN applies nano cavitation as an additional physical treatment within the water circuit. The application is tailored to system volume, flow rate, water load, existing water treatment and critical zones.
- More control over microbiological build-up in drain water flows
- More stable water quality during recirculation
- Support for existing filtration, UV or oxidative treatment
- Reduced dependence on corrective peak treatments
- Better controlled reuse of water and nutrients
Frequently asked questions about drain water reuse
Korte antwoorden op veelgestelde vragen over drainwater, recirculatie en de inzet van CWN Free en Tube.
Why is drain water reuse microbiologically sensitive?
When drain water is reused, water, nutrients, organic matter and microorganisms remain present in the system for longer periods of time. As a result, microbiological build-up can occur in basins, pipes, filters, silos and other wet parts of the installation.
Does CWN replace existing drain water disinfection?
No. CWN is applied as an additional system technology. Filtration, UV, oxidative treatment or other existing technologies can each retain their own function within the water system.
When is CWN relevant for drain water reuse?
CWN is particularly relevant when analyses fluctuate, microbiological load returns, contamination occurs or corrective treatment is needed more frequently to keep the system stable.
Where is CWN installed in a drain water system?
That depends on the installation. Possible locations include basins, silos, pipes, return flows or zones where drain water, organic load and recirculation come together.
How do we demonstrate the impact of CWN?
We define together in advance which goals are important for your installation. During a pilot, we monitor these through measurements and practical observations, for example water quality, microbiological load, contamination, corrective treatment and system stability. This makes the contribution of CWN visible within your own water system.
